The new owner has renamed the park, to "Welford Riverside Park" presumably to try and avoid the reputation that the place has suffered from in the past.Unfortunately the proximity to the river is still probably the best argument for not buying a caravan which is likely to be swept away the next time a flood occurs. The proprietor previously tried to buy the nearby boatyard at Barton but was outbid by the local millionaire Felix Dennis. If he has ambitions in that direction he may do better to get rid of the remainder of his caravan customers and start again with boats. They would have a better chance of surviving the floods at least! :0)
Located less than 5 miles from
Stratford upon Avon UK, Binton Bridges is a select Caravan Holiday Home Park
adjoining the River Avon with Mooring and Fishing rights for the owner
occupied homes.
Adjoining the village of Welford on Avon and
directly opposite the ‘Four Alls’ pub and restaurant you are just walking
distance from shops, post office, garage with petrol, butchers, hairdressers,
church and 2 further local pubs.
Each of the pitches are served by mains cold water,
metered electricity and have mains drainage. Bottled gas is also available on
site.
Sounds great ?

Here is what WAS true before the current owner took charge... The atmosphere is generally quiet
and relaxing with fishing available from the grassy banks and a ride into
Stratford by boat will take around 90 minutes. It is also possible to walk or
cycle via ‘The Greenway’, a route avoiding all traffic with regular bus
connections back to the Park.
Other local amenities include
cricket, football, indoor & outdoor bowls and golf
In the heart of Shakespeare country
and on the edge of the Cotswolds the scope for day trips by car is
considerable so a visit to the Tourist Information Centre in Stratford is
essential.
Unfortunately pitches at Binton
Bridges Park are not always available and there is often have a waiting
list but, dependant on your requirements, we will always do our best to
fulfil these as soon as possible.
